If your synthetic lawn or putting green is positioned under a big tree, there’s a decent chance you may find tree sap sticking to your turf at some point! Our turf cleaning team has experimented with a few types of so-called “sap removers”, but it turns out the best solution is to wipe it off with a cloth using Rubbing Alcohol. Alternatively you could use an Aerosol Refrigerant designed for cleaning carpets. This will not cause any damage to the grassblades. If the sap gets on your putting green, or if you find moss growing in the turf, a good tool to assist with these situations is a stiff-bristle BBQ brush or wire brush. And that is all you will need to get that pesky tree sap out of your artificial turf!
If you live in the greater Vancouver area and are in need of a turf deep cleaning, we offer an annual service to come by and leave your lawn sanitized and looking like the day it was installed!
